I got a free consult on how to proceed with my divorce and could not have been more pleased when I was given advice without the pressure of hiring a firm as it was simple in my case. They only wanted to help which was sooooo awesome and for which I am very grateful!

If you want an attorney's office that will really hear your case and give you a proper consultation DO NOT CALL THIS ATTORNEY OFFICE!!! You will regret it! I called this office and the person who answered the phone was very kind. She told me that an attorney would call me back either today or tomorrow to discuss with me my case. The attorney called me later on and was completely RUDE! I answered the phone and he said "This is Joshua.....". I looked at my phone because it was completely silent. This guy had no personality at all. I told him the problem and after giving him my scenario he said (very belittling) we do not handle cases like yours. I asked if he could give me an explaination and if he could give me an example of what cases (in the same department) he did handle just incase there was other parts of the story I might have missed or forget to mention. He basically wasn't hearing me and kept going back and forth telling me I CANNOT HELP YOU ! WE DON'T WORK ON CASES LIKE YOURS!. He did not attempt to give me any counsel or suggestions that would help me. To top things off he hung up on me and said GOOD LUCK!! I DO NOT HAVE TIME FOR THIS!! Isn't it your job to consult??

I can't thank John and his team enough. He is calm and knows what he is doing. I felt confident in him, and his advice is worth taking. On two occasions during my court hearings the judge said I have a great lawyer. I also watched the same judge make the other lawyers in the room look like they had no clue what they were doing, which I'm sure didn't help the defendants case . The man knows the laws and I would recommend him before anyone else. Do yourself the favor and hire John as your attorney.

My 18yr old daughter was given a speeding ticket after she was in a single car accident. There were no witnesses but the cop issued the ticket anyway. I hired Goldman & Associates because I did not want to risk losing in court which would increase car insurance and points on her record. In 2014, I was a student at Oakland Community College working on my Associates in Paralegal Studies. On a whim, I applied for a receptionist position at Goldman & Associates Law Firm. I was called for an interview which I was so nervous for but was at ease the moment I sat down Angi Simon, the Senior Paralegal. A couple days later, I was offered the job. Little did I know how much of a positive impact working with this firm would make. While I worked there, I was also given the opportunity to have hands on practice as a Paralegal. As I got closer to completing my degree, I spread my wings to get more experience in different legal settings such as the District Court's and such. However, I knew I always had a home at Goldman & Associates. Akiva always says I'm like one of his kids going off to college, then coming "home" during breaks or when the family needs me. Goldman & Associates is not only FAMILY to me, It's my HOME! I can proudly say my experience and skills as a Paralegal are a product of working with this firm. The attorney's and Senior Paralegal taught me all they knew about various legal issues as well as client interactions. Because of the qualities and examples Goldman & Associates shared with me, I am now an employee with a local District Court. Their compassion, integrity, professionalism, attorney/client relationships, and dedication is impeccable. Although I no longer work at the firm, they are and forever will be my FAMILY. Any chance I get, I drop in and say "Hi" to my favorite Paralegal, Angi Simmon, steal a hug from one of the most talented Family attorneys, Matt Schultz, check in with Steve Hilton, a fantastic Personal Injury attorney, to make sure he is getting his haircut on a regular basis🤣, poke my head in Akiva's office to say "Hello", and lastly, make sure Alex Hishon, another talented attorney, knows Blue and Gold are the office colors, NOT green and white🤣🤣 Goldman & Associates are always my first recommendation when someone needs legal advice.
