I paid the retainer fee and was assigned to Attorney Betsy Sedore. She called me immediately to introduce herself and to set up a time to have our 15-minute consultation. I was very emotional at the time, so we set it up for the following week. Over the course of that week, I decided that I needed more time to make a decision regarding my situation. When Betsy called me, I apologized for the inconvenience and explained that I had decided to try another avenue before rushing in to divorce. I was very embarrassed and told her this. She wasn't upset in the least; in fact, she was compassionate and encouraged me to try to resolve the issues before proceeding, while assuring me that she would be happy to represent me going forward if needed. I will definitely be using this firm for any legal issues in the future.

While I haven't personally utilized Mr. Freeman's legal services, I recently applied for a paralegal position at his firm. Despite my qualifications and experience, I was immediately denied without any communication or explanation. This lack of even basic courtesy raises concerns about the firm's communication practices and potential biases in the hiring process. My application included an honest disclosure of my criminal history. While past convictions can be a factor in employment decisions, the immediate dismissal without any consideration or communication suggests a potential for bias. This experience, coupled with the existing negative reviews regarding communication, raises questions about the firm's overall approach to client interaction and decision-making.
