Peter Bissett?!! All I can say is truly AWESOME!! Very calm and understanding, something I needed during this time. Thank you for caring. He was more than a lawyer. He was like a counselor and friend. My emotions got the best of me at times but he always knew how to keep me calm. LOL! He was always the eye of the tornado (Me). Very thorough, gave great sound advice and wisdom every step of the way....what can I say? He was GREAT! If I could hire him for other areas of law I would hire him for EVERYTHING! ;-) Again Thank you Peter, for your diligence and understanding through this difficult time and transition of my life!

No one ever goes into a marriage expecting a divorce, but sometimes unforeseen circumstances warrant the decision. When I first called Peter for a consultation, I was very scared and very confused. At the time, I wasn't even sure if I wanted a divorce. Peter was extremely patient with me and he answered all of my questions with ease. He did not pressure me to make any decisions and he did not try to "sell" his services. That was how I knew I trusted him. Once I was certain I wanted to file, Peter got the ball rolling quickly and efficiently. My case involved the care and protection of three young children, and Peter placed them at the forefront of the process. He was very organized, well-informed, and meticulous. I knew the whole process (and the resulting Judgement) was in very capable hands. I would highly recommend Peter to anyone considering a divorce.

I hired Peter to handle a custody issue. He seemed very knowledgeable and helpful. However, I felt as though I was strung along. Multiple retainers were provided and each time it seemed like I was told that this should do it. I felt that he didn't actually care much about the outcome of the case and more about using the retainer and working on the next one. Even the referee mentioned that some of the subpoenas and other articles of that nature were an obvious waste of time. I will say that he argued aggressively at the first hearing and the motion for custody was well written.

My divorce started out so easy, I didn't think I needed an attorney. Of course (as divorces go) I was wrong. After six months of getting nowhere with my ex wife, I hired Peter.
