Regina was more interested in building her reputation with the opposing attorney or feeling sorry for the opposing side in the divorce than in representing and protecting my interests. She had insufficient knowledge of Michigan custody and child support law and insufficient knowledge of how spousal support works in SE Michigan. She also had woefully insufficient knowledge of how retirement funds are settled during divorce - costing me thousands of dollars in additional fees paid to other "experts" within her "network" in order to get answers that were unusable within the final settlement. In the end, I essentially wound up representing myself (doing research, filing motions, etc.). It felt like she was learning divorce law from scratch on my nickel. A complete waste of time and a huge waste of money.
