I had a DWLR case that I originally was not going to use representation for but the night before I changed my mind and was in a panic. I sent Will an email (along with five other attorney’s) super late at night in a desperate hope to hear back from any of them. Not only was Will the first one to respond at the crack of dawn, but he also arraigned so that I did not have to go into court on that morning! He got that done in the first 30 minutes of hiring him. He then was able to negotiate with the prosecutor to get me the absolute best possible offer. On the one and only court date, Will was prompt, communicative, and prepped me all the way up until my name was called to the stand. Even when he noticed the judge was cranky. I never felt like Will thought he was better/smarter than me (have felt this way with multiple attorney’s in the past) and really felt like I could trust his advice. He also is a very clean and sharp attorney that I was happy to have represent me. Highly recommend Will and feel grateful that I have him in my corner. Appreciate you Will!!

I hired Mr. Barnwell for a DUI I was arrested for. He was very proactive, and responsive when communicating. Giving my specific circumstances, I think he was able to negotiate the best deal possible. Definitely worth the expense. I would highly recommend him to anyone in a similar situation.

Lawyer mr barnwell is the best at what he does. A case I would’ve had to probably do time for he made go away. I had a really high bac and was involved in a minor accident. Caught a dui and hit and run he had the hit and run dropped completely and for the dui I got 6 month probation. Pretty great outcome, he’s very knowledgeable and is well known in the courts. Nothing less than five stars for my guy!

Never imagined I would need an attorney to defend me until my then wife conjured up a plan to have me arrested with the intent to utilize the arrest as part of a divorce. As you would imagine, this was an incredibly difficult time for me. Bill was consistently there for me. Consulting in person, over the phone and always with quick responses via text. He always answered the phone with a friendly "hey buddy" which was great during this difficult time for me. I had a lot of time on my hands to re-live the night that my ex made up a story to have me arrested. I would remember details and send them to Bill. I would take statements from the divorce proceeding and get that to Bill. He helped sort through what was not relevant, possibly helpful, definitely important, etc. Before each pre-trial, we chatted on what to expect. I never felt surprised in this process with Bill helping me through it. Finally we got past pre-trials to a jury trial: As we approached the date, Bill coached me on what to expect. He coached me on the technical aspects of the law specific to my case and identified an additional specific special law that bolstered my defense (I'll get to this later). He told me the prosecutor would likely try and trick me and to just be aware that was a tactic prosecutors use. He took all of my thoughts and feedback and bundled them into his defense plan for representing me. Then in court, the day of, Bill performed incredibly. My ex lied on the stand a number of times. Bill caught her in a few of those lies and some questions he had her saying "I don't know" a lot - it's hard to remember the details of a story you made up. She wasn't credible to begin with but Bill showed the courtroom who she truly was. I wanted to take the stand to tell my story. Bill had prepared me well, so I felt comfortable while answering questions. I think the prosecutor gave up eventually because I was prepared enough that I saw the traps as he was trying to to set them. Bill's closing argument was impressive. I watched jurors nod as he spoke. The last thing before the jury went to deliberate was the judge reading to the jury the specific special law that Bill had identified to me earlier. If there was any uncertainty I think the reading of this law by the judge sealed the deal. The jury deliberated quickly and came back not guilty. I don't expect to need Bill's services again and frankly I don't know many people in need of defense attorneys, but if you're reading this review because you're looking for an attorney please contact Bill. You'll be happy you did.

The man is a master of his profession he was able to get both of my very bad mistakes charges dismissed. He cares about his clients really takes care of them. He asks you for some work to be done to help yourself and in return he does alot of great work help and great advice to make your situation better. Anything worth having that you want or need is worth working for and in return Bill Barnwell will go above and beyond for you to become better. A++++++ very highly recommended.
