Kevin and his staff have been outstanding to work with over the years helping us with our parents needs...first and foremost, understanding the next steps for our Mom when she developed Alzheimer's and needed to go into a nursing home. His assistance with getting through the Medicaid process was huge. Kevin's knowledge and help getting our father Veterans Aid & Attendance Benefits...we will be forever grateful...a very time consuming and grueling process. Kevin never hesitated to take a question or call back with answers. His compassion dealing with my father as he aged, and recent death...his kindness and understanding will never be forgotten. Kevin and his staff are the best!

My husband and I have been going to Mr. Gilhool for several years. This year, I recommended Mr. Gilhool to my brother for his elder care needs. We both find him to be efficient, extremely knowledgeable and very articulate and courteous. My brother and I both left Mr. Gilhool's office feeling confident and assured that all our needs were met. I highly recommend Mr. Gilhool for anyone needing elder law care.

My mother was in a nursing home. We weren't sure when she would be out and her insurance would end at the end of the month. We hired Mr. Gilhool to save her house in case she stayed past her ins. time limit. At his office we went over the papers and paid a fee of $5,200.00. She died within three weeks of hiring him, before the ins. ran out. He never had to go to court or file any papers on our behalf. We met once at the nursing home at 8:30 at night to see if mom could sign a paper but she was sleeping (this was approx. 7-10 days before she passed) Not only did Mr. Gilhool not return any money but he also charged a fee of $35.00 to put the house deed in my name.(mom left it to me in her will)When the deed came my sons name was on it. I called them to have it changed to my name and it came back with both names on it. I finally took it to the city clerk myself and changed it. I have resented the fee charged since, and have been told by a different attorney I could file a complaint at the grievance commision. I feel he shouldn 't have kept the full amount Also my brother and sister-in-law used his services for thier will and the papers were sent to them with the wrong name for my sister-in-law
