Christian is a great lawyer. He has helped me and several of my friends with their legal issues. He communicated with me and kept me updated on a regular basis. He always clearly explained my options but let me make the final choices. He always supported me no matter what path I decided. He was a great advocate for me and I was impressed with his skills and composure in and out of the courtroom. Before I read this review I looked at the other ones on the page and I can’t believe what I read. Frankly, I think other reviewers are lying and blaming their lawyer for problems they caused themselves. I would use Christian’s services again and I would never hesitate to recommend him to anyone. He is an honest, trustworthy, and compassionate advocate who will get you the best outcome possible.

Christian does great work, I was highly impressed with how Anoka County judges and prosecutors new him so well and had much respect for him!

Sarah Kimball is a top-notch attorney, absolutely top-notch. I have worked with and around attorneys much of my professional career and she is one of the brightest and most compassionate lawyers I have ever met. My situation was a misdemeanor traffic offense which was my fault. Sarah successfully negotiated it down to a charge that drops off my record if I maintain a clean driving record for a year. I could not have attained even close to that level of success if I hadn’t had her skilled guidance. Her work as a former prosecutor makes her uniquely qualified to understand the workings of the system. I cannot recommend her highly enough. Thank you Sarah!

I hired Christian to handle my custody case. For the year and a half that I had him on retainer, he completely refused to meet face to face at all outside of hearings and insisted on emails and phone calls to communicate. Many important details in my case got ignored by him and it quickly became clear that he was trying to rush through a deal and be done with things rather than doing what was best for me. The deal he talked me into left me with 2/3 of my net income going to my ex and the other 1/3 going to gas to handle all the transportation (1300 miles a month, just for child exchanges). Once i fell $400 into debt with him (chump change compared to the overall amount I'd paid him) and explained that I'd need time to get the money, he dropped me as a client the day prior to the deadline we agreed on and gave both false and privileged information to my exs attourney. After hiring a new attorney, all it took was bringing up 2 details (that I had brought up to Christian many times but he ignored) to the judge and i got the deal i wanted. Christian MIGHT be a good criminal attorney. But he doesn't care about custody cases.

I have known Paul Baertschi for nearly two decades. He practices with great professionalism and compassion. Paul is well regarded by his fellow attorneys as someone who is honest, diligent and always prepared. I routinely sit across from Paul as an adversary, I trust he will employ discretion when appropriate. I know Paul to have great skill as a prosecutor and I am positive he can use his extensive prosecutorial knowledge and experience to assist anyone charged with any crime.

When a problem arose in my extended family that I needed questions answered, the firm of Tallen and Baertschi stepped up and sat down on a Wednesday night to talk to our family. They listened to a very painful subject and asked meaningful questions. They provided excellent council and helped us contact the correct county workers in Hennepin County to help in our situation. I was represented by Tallen and Baertschi recently and I will make an attempt at relaying my experience as accurately as possible. I was recommended their business from a close confidante who I both respect and admire, so naturally I was inclined to expect reasonable representation. That being said, I still had many questions most of us face I think when seeking legal representation. Am I going to be represented fairly? Will these attorneys keep my interest at heart? Are these men going to fight for me? Being a young man with little to no experience in court of law and or the legal process, I found myself concerned and intimidated at the prospect of “my day in court”. But when I first met with Mr. Baertschi it quickly became clear to me that he had a deep understanding of current law, my anxiety was curbed. Not only did they explain the process thoroughly and honestly but being that they practice both sides of the law (prosecutors at times and defense attorneys at others) they had an intimate understanding of what I could expect. I hired them, at a reasonable price, great reputation, and the feeling that my wellbeing was the focus, how could I not? I was rewarded with representation that was far more than “reasonable”, it proved to be nothing short of stellar. From subpoenaing crucial evidence in my case, pouring over hours of said evidence, relaying their findings to me almost immediately at every turn. Finding critical pieces of information that I am sure many lawyers would have missed, leading to several breaks in my case, they truly went the extra mile I felt. They were incredibly patient with me throughout the entire process seeing as how much of this was new to me and dumbing down some of what was being said so that I could understand, assuring me of the facts to keep my mind from running wild. I have sought different legal representation in the past but I can honestly say I don’t think any other lawyer could have gotten me through this experience with as much peace of mind as the gentlemen at Tallen and Baertschi.
