Going through bankruptcy is not what you wake up one morning and get excited about filling. I was struggling to clean my credit after graduation from college. Out of nowhere, a 16 year old debt hit me and it had grown from 2000 to almost 8000. I received a garnishment order and the company did not want a negotiated payment. That is when I searched online and found Michael. I was skeptical at the beginning but I took my chances. It is one of the best decisions that I have ever made. A classy lawyers and Michael explains things in a language understandable. The flat fee is one other thing that makes it easy to contact the law firm without the fear of paying too much. I had very few questions though because he made the process extremely smooth.

Michael Sheridan is a wonderful, caring, who did not judge or lecture about the situation I was in. I am a senior citizen and had considered this before but was hesitant to do so. He made me feel at ease about the bankruptcy proceedings. There was questions about a small amount of mineral rights I own, but they were resolved in my favor. Michael upon reviewing my credit report was able to add a $25,000 debt that I thought did not qualify to go to Chapter 7. I am totally pleased with Michael and my Chapter 7 Bankruptcy has been granted. I am so relieved it is a huge burden lifted. Michael is a gem, I absolutely recommend him if you are considering a bankruptcy.

Michael and Bonnie are amazing to work with. I have an ongoing custody battle with my ex, and the amount of work and stress I have to deal with with the help of my great lawyer, is disheartening. I was worried that filing for bankruptcy would be the same stressful situation. I am so happy to say, it was a very stress free process. Michael works very hard to get your case all ready for review, and all I really had to do was supply necessary documents for him, and send them via email (which is great instead of having to physically go into the office during these COVID times) The initial consultation was a breeze, I am a nurse and not fluent in legal jargon, Michael makes it very easy to understand exactly what was going to happen. When I had my mandatory phone hearing with the trustee, there was one snag, as she got stuck on my Grandmothers diamonds she gave me when she passed, family heirlooms. She made me jump through hoops to get them appraised (which ended up not happening because it was too expensive bc there was so many of them) she wanted individual pictures (of high quality) of tiny .25 carat diamonds. So the first meeting with the trustee was postponed until she could learn more about the diamonds. During this time Michael not only explained her reasoning but was very helpful and communicative of what I needed to have done and when I needed it done by. Easy. After the second meeting with the trustee it went great. And what is great about those trustee meetings, Michael is on the line also listening while your case is being heard, so if you need help or get stuck on something, he is always at the ready to step in and help his clients. Working with Atlas Law Firm on my bankruptcy was the smartest thing I could do. And now I am on my way to rebuilding my credit after a horrible divorce and becoming very ill and racking up tons of medical bills I just couldn’t pay. Because of Michael and he work, I am now optimistic on rebuilding my credit to the great score it was before I was married. I would recommend this firm to anyone looking to do their bankruptcy without all the stress.

From the original consultation to the discharge Micheal and his staff were timely & thorough in their response if I had any questions. His understanding and respectful nature lessened my concerns in going through this decision and process. Highly recommend!

It was quick and not a lot of in and out of office every time I needed him he was available and I liked that my question was alway answered
