My case is a bit different, I started following attorney Nkechi Gillman way before I even thought of hiring her, or even thought that I would need her firms assistance. I came across one of her lives while browsing TikTok and being an immigrant myself, I was drawn to her openness, cantor and just her overall willingness to share information. She made no promises, except that both she and her firm using their combined years of experience will give every case the attention due. That they will fight and do everything to bring about the results that we desire. What I loved is that they're honest about their prices. Are they expensive? Yes. Are they the firm for everyone? No. I can tell you when I found myself in a situation where I needed attorney guidance and representation, I knew who to call. I filed a K1 petition 2.5 yrs ago, of course I thought I did everything correctly. I received USCIS approval, and then Covid hit. Finally, we're granted an interview in Santo Domingo and this is where things start to go off the rails. Misplaced paperwork, stalls, half-truths, you name it , it happened. Finally, after many calls, favors movement. Just to have the case marked as expired, our case was dead. 2.5 yrs, thousands of dollars, discarded dreams and our case was discarded, dead. I made the call, had the consultation but I was so dejected I was just going to give up and get married in DR and start over. This is where the expertise and caring of the team because even more apparent. Everyone called and encouraged me not to give up. Even Mr. Gillman, they assured me that it wasn't over. "Give us a chance, let us try. This is what we do". I'm glad that I listened, because that dead case was brought back to life. We submitted the congressional inquiry with all of the supporting documentation. A mere 5 weeks later, K1 visa granted and my fiancé and my stepdaughter will be here in the US at the end of August.
