I hired Matt in september of 2016, for a dwi case. Matt made sure that I knew exactly what was going on, I didn't feel like I was one of many cases for him. He took notes on all the interactions with the prosecutor, then presented it to me. Even months after my case was closed he answers all my text with a prompt phone call. Matt will be the first one I with any legal questions.

Matt is a very smart and talented lawyer. He certainly paid attention to all the details of my case and worked efficiently and effectively to get the charges dropped. Matt was always easy to reach for questions and fast to respond with answers.

I hired Mr. Schmidt to represent me in my DWI case and was extremely pleased with the results! I have had 2 other attorneys throughout my life, and neither one of them went above my expectations like Matthew Schmidt did. Mr. Schmidt was different then the other lawyers I've encountered in a few different ways, one of which, he kept me informed about every detail throughout the entire duration of my case. I never had to call him and ask him what was going on with it. If i did call and he was unavailable, i ALWAYS got a call back within an hour or so. He explained every aspect of what was going on with the case in great detail, but also made it make sense to me. I never felt lost or "in the dark" about what was happening in my case. Another reason I'm glad i hired Mr. Schmidt was because it was immediately obvious that he genuinely cared and was sensitive to my specific situation/case. He didn't just represent me in an open-and-shut manner, but rather took the time to find discrepancies in the police officer's report and brought them to the court's attention during my Implied Consent Hearing. And lastly, Mr. Schmidt really knew what he was talking about when it came to my specific situation. It's to my understanding that he deals with a lot of these DWI cases, so he has a ton of experience in this area of criminal law. When it came time for court Matthew Schmidt had the experience, confidence and excellent negotiating skills to get the prosocuter to agree to knock my gross misdemeanor DWI charge down to a misdemeanor DWI. I'm so happy I hired attorney Matthew Schmidt! I can promise that if you hire him as well, you won't be disappointed!!!

First of all Matt went above and beyond for me . I didn't have to do much of anything it was smooth and he made it very easy on me . I ended up with a lesser charge and a less expensive fine as well. Couldn't ask for a better experience . He's also a kind person and friendly and made all the right decisions for my case. I'm very lucky to have had Matt Schmidt represent me.
