Great training on the new laws! Finn make these trainings fun

Very very shady collection practices. I have all of my communications with them and they all point to inaccurate billing records and fees that the they assessed but were never able to produce a invoice. Told me to call HOA for invoice but HOA said that would need to come from them. Nothing. Just expected to pay over 4k for fees that I know nothing about. They even assessed more fees after making a payment arrangement and telling me that no more fees would be assessed and then when questioned acted like they did not know what I was talking about. These companied move with impunity and are not held accountable for their shady practices. Let's add gaslighting to the list of shady dealings. My reply states that I have never had any business with them which is very untrue seeing as though they are getting a check every month. It appears that they have a pre written script that they use as a reply for anyone that gives them a bad review.

Shady collections practices. Would not let me pay a bill I wanted to pay and tried to charge me for fees which had not yet been invoiced. Individual who I spoke to was short, rude, dismissive and would not answer my questions and would not present me with an invoice for what I owe, despite HOA having directed me to him to request the invoice. When finally asked, he back pedaled and produced an invoice which did not reflect the amount he initially demanded I pay. He pointed out that if I didn’t pay the full amount (even though this quoted amount included fees which were not assessable to me and had not yet been invoiced) that I would not be removed from collections.

Entered information online. Within 24hours an attorney got back to me. A explained what my situation was. He took his time to explain to me what to do for my situation. Explaining how much they would charge and for me to decide if it would be worth it. But he also took the time to explain another way I could go about my situation, and found the number for me to get help with going down that avenue. Hats off to you, letting me know I had a case even if I didn't use your expertise. And letting me know I had a valid case,

My five star rating of SJJ is well justified. They are experts in issues involving residential roof damage. After consulting with a local roofing contactor, it was determined that significant damage occurred to my cedar shake roof during a bad wind storm while I was away on vacation. After several months, I noticed that a large number of roofing shakes were coming loose. Because I reported this problem a number of months after the storm, my insurance company balked and even would not come out to look at the damage. I retained a roofing consultant and after several months, the insurance company finally offered a "low-ball" adjustment. My roofing consultant recommended an attorney, SJJ, to litigate against the insurance company. SJJ rigorously pursued the insurance company for over a year, never giving up.
