Attorney Risk is the perfect mix of caring and knowledgeable. We know the legal system does not always work the way it should. Sometimes innocent people are charged and subsequently convicted. I have now seen Attorney Risk help two people navigate successfully through the criminal justice system. I highly recommend David Risk to walk you through any criminal case.

After working with another prominent defense attorney for more than 1 year on my case, I switched to Dave Risk. My original attorney did not communicate well with me and my case was floundering. To be fair, my case was anything but straightforward. Dave Risk's ability to listen and explain immediately reduced my anxiety over my case. Even though many of his clients were facing more serious charges than I, he never made me feel as though my case was not important. Dave was tough when he needed to be and I appreciate his willingness to fight above all else. He jumped in midstream and turned my case around, achieving the best possible result. My only regret is not hiring him sooner.

Dave represented me on a drug case. He is knowledgeable on the technical aspects of the law. Constitutional rights issues and so forth. My case did not offer much wiggle-room for him to work with as an attorney, but I was impresses at how many different avenues he explored in trying to get the case dismissed. As the case panned out, I chose to take a plea deal in my best interest. (the alternative was much less appealing) The plea deal wasn't as good as I have seen in other cases, BUT I need to say I don't know if this was because of shortcomings on Dave's part in negotiating - or simply a tough prosecutor who wouldn't back down. Dave is a wonderfully friendly guy who doesn't shy away from constant communication and questions from his client. I bugged him with calls and questions all the time and he was always happy to answer. He is the type of attorney I might even invite to my own back yard barbecue and enjoy his company.
