Easy to work with and very accommodating.

Mark Severson did an incredible job walking us through the options for our estate planning. He provided us with a clear understanding of the will and trust process, so we easily determined the best option for our situation. Meeting with Mark and discussing our needs was very easy. He is extremely professional with very reasonable fees. My wife and I highly recommend Severson Porter for your estate planning and other legal needs.

I google mapped and drove to the location. EMPTY, CLOSED. No information posted as to where the office is located. Drove around town and couldn't find it. Called the phone number no one answered.

Mark has many of the qualities one would look for in a lawyer. He is honest, intelligent, and proactive. He is reasonable in his approach; in our situation, he presented a logical and realistic path to move forward. This path included attempts to schedule constructive mediation before moving to legal action. Once legal action was deemed necessary, he quickly prepared the documentation and filed it right away. Throughout the months that we have had to utilize Mark’s services, he has kept us apprised of all conversations with the opposing attorney and provided us with his interpretation of what was happening. At every decision-making point in the process we have gone through, he was there to provide information and guidance. Any legal action is upsetting and stressful; having a lawyer like Mark explaining processes and doing the legal work is invaluable. In this case, Mark is collaborating with another lawyer; the ability to work together with another professional to achieve the best possible outcome is another positive attribute. Mark cares about his clients; perhaps the thing that is the most revealing about Mark’s compassion is the fact that he is doing the work for our nonprofit organization pro bono; it is obvious that he cares about his community and cares about fairness. We are extremely happy with and appreciative of Mark Severson and his work.

Mark has worked with our community public library on a pro bono basis for over a year. He has been thorough, conscientious and extremely knowledgeable in his efforts to help our Library Board define their governance role according to MN state statutes.
