Guttman Law has provided outstanding estate planning and administration services for our entire family. Matt Guttman impressed us with his legal proficiency, responsiveness, professionalism, and integrity when my husband and I set up our estate plan eight years ago. When my parents moved to Minnesota from out-of-state and needed to revise their own estate plan, we felt confident knowing that they would be in good hands with Matt. And then when my parents recently passed away, it was so reassuring to have Matt and Jamie Reff-Wagner guide us through the difficult process of settling their estate - closing out their trust, dividing it into sub-trusts, distributing the assets, and handling all the details that would have overwhelmed us without their help, all at a reasonable cost. We are very happy we have Guttman Law for our future needs as well.

Matt Guttman was very detailed in giving me information on how to set up an estate plan for the future. He went the extra mile and really got to know me and was extremely patient with helping me articulate my goals with regard to my children and my finances. On the day I went to his office to sign documentation, which I knew was a day he, unfortunately, would be out of town, Jamie Reff-Wagner went over my plan with me. She spent the extra time to cover every detail set forth in my plan and made sure I understood and remembered the most important details. Their staff was extremely capable as well, and when there were a couple of changes I wanted to make, they were able to make those while I waited and print new pages to insert into an incredibly-organized binder for me, complete with tabs and labels so I know exactly where everything is. Guttman Law and their entire staff was exceptional and has put my mind at ease with regard to the future. I would highly recommend this law firm without hesitation!

I whole-heartedly recommend attorney Courtney Schneider of Huston & Schneider! She represented me during my divorce last year and I was thoroughly impressed. 2020 was a tough year with Covid-19 and going through a divorce during that time did not make things easier, but Courtney stuck with me through it all and helped me through it. She was calm (even when I was extremely anxious), honest, patient, respectful, very professional and a good listener, but also made sure to use time wisely, avoiding unnecessary charges. She explained things clearly and answered every single question I had and was always VERY prompt at getting back to me, which I very much appreciated. She is obviously deeply knowledgeable of the law and the legal processes in Minnesota surrounding divorce. In stark contrast, my now ex-husband found a lawyer who did not listen to him at all and apparently thinks that every person getting divorced has a vendetta to score. His lawyer tried to find multiple ways to hurt me the most, (which is not at all what my husband wanted) which also would have dragged out the process providing more fees to that lawyer. My ex-husband had paid his lawyer thousands of dollars to represent him but after her complete failure at the Mediation session where she greatly increased his stress instead of reducing it, he finally fired that lawyer and we settled. Again, in sharp contrast, Courtney listened and gave me great advice. She also had the technology readily available and fully functional to handle the virtual meetings we suddenly had to have due to the pandemic for the court meetings and Mediation session (unlike my husband’s lawyer who could not get audio or video to work properly for the meetings). Going through a divorce is difficult for anyone, but if you have Courtney on your side, you will get through it. I cannot thank you enough Courtney for all that you have done for me! You’re the best!!
