I called Ryan to see if I had case or not. He ended up not being the type of attorney that I needed...but he sure helped me as if he was. He happily answered all of my questions, as well as gave me advice. He had nothing to gain from me, yet he treated me like I was a valued client. You can tell he just truly wants to help people and that quality is priceless.

Top notch org. Communicated clearly. Matt is easy going but effective. Timely on meeting my needs. Pointed out "homework" that the client needs to complete...this is normal. First became aware of Matt at presentation at Trustone Financial in Maple Grove. Did "due diligence" by asking a financial person in my network if he knew Matt...both work in Edina. The answer was "yes" with a positive recommendation.

We had put off establishing a trust for years, and now wonder why we'd felt intimidated by the process. Matt and his team are terrific. Matt, in particular, explained issues with a calming mix of details and humor. Some odd issues were thoroughly discussed and resolved. Transparency and trust are key goals here. As they should be. She explained everything in clear, easy to understand terms. I highly recommend using them for setting up your wishes for your family. Matt Guttman was recommended to me by a professional I trust. I also heard him speak and answer questions at my accountant’s firm when he gave a seminar about “What to include in your will.” He is knowledgeable and responsive. My husband and I chose to work with him five years ago to develop our estate plan (including wills and healthcare plans). Due to changes in our family, we updated our documents recently. Matt and his staff were friendly and efficient in helping us through that process. I recommend him highly.
