If you need an attorney associated with anything in Real Estate look no further. Doug will make sure your needs and fiduciary come first. His knowledge, expertise and experience aren’t matched to other attorneys I’ve worked with. If I could give another star I would!

We worked with Doug as our Buyers Agent\Broker\Lawyer for our new home purchase. He is wonderful and easy to work with.He helped with the documentation and advise regarding our home purchase and financing it. Most Buyers agents demand 2.7% of the home purchase price even if you have decided the house you want to buy. Doug charged us a flat fee for his representation. He is upfront about all the services he will provide and delivered it to our utmost satisfaction. Doug is an excellent alternative if you found a house you need or if you are buying a new Construction.

Doug assisted with both the sale of our old home and the purchase of our new home - we saved a total of about $40,000 across both transactions. The scope of services that Doug provides is a little different but Doug was up-front about that. We do not envision using a traditional realtor ever again. We have recommended Doug to our friends and family who are planning real estate sales/purchases.

I hired Doug to handle the legal work with selling my house For Sale By Owner. He took care of everything and was excellent at communicating every step of the way. He handles most of what a typical real estate listing agent does, but at a fraction of the cost. I saved $8K by using Doug's services! If you are selling your home without a listing agent and don't want to worry about the legal paperwork, I strongly recommend Doug.

My husband and I wanted a new construction home and saw several model homes before narrowing down to a couple of homes. We did our research (the local market, the reputation of builder etc) and found the home we wanted to buy. We saw no reason to hire a realtor at that stage to work as a buyer's agent but not using an agent wasn't going to save us money(the builder saves the 2.7% but doesn't pass on the savings to buyers. It's ridiculous!!). We found Doug who agreed to represent us as our agent and charging a reasonable fixed fee(instead of a % that realtors usually charge, another absurd practise in the real estate industry) to go over the documents/contracts (Doug is actually qualified to do this since he is a lawyer) and help us with the negotiations. We had a smooth process from start to finish with Doug and we successfully closed on our home and saved over 9000 dollars!! I can't recommend Doug more highly. He is trying to help people save on real estate transactions and reform the way this whole process works.

Doug Miller is a fantastic alternative to the incredibly expensive real estate brokers. Doug helped us as we went the FSBO route to sell our home. I have to say that the experience working with Doug was outstanding. I would recommend him to anyone looking to do FSBO (though I’m sure he would represent you well as buyer agent too). He provided sound advice, was very accessible throughout the process, and helped to navigate some tricky curveballs during the course of our sale. He offers a wide range of services—he’s pretty much a one-stop shop for everything you might want to do regarding residential real estate. Not to mention he was always candid, very reasonably priced and enjoyable to work with. 5 out of 5 stars based on our experience.
