During the most stressful period of my life, Brigid helped me stay calm and focused. Four years after the divorce, I can really appreciate the care and thought she put into the divorce settlement. I was not able to focus on the financial aspects of the divorce at that time. She kept her eye on the ball, and negotiated a settlement that I appreciate more and more as time goes on. I appreciate her professionalism and the care she devoted to my case.

She is tough as nails and didn’t put up with any shenanigans from the opposing party. My ex-husband is also an attorney, and tried to sneak things into the paperwork which could have lost me a significant amount of money. Brigid saw through his tricks immediately. She definitely got me the best possible outcome in a complicated divorce. Brigid made a confusing and intimidating process much more clear and understandable. She answered all my questions thoroughly and even sent me home with notes so I would be sure to remember everything. She was patient, but didn’t waste my time. I see two negative reviews of Brigid on this site, and they shouldn’t be trusted. Brigid was never late or disorganized, she was incredibly professional yet approachable. She was worth every penny.

I was on the opposition and was glad to have her as the attorney opposing me. I represented myself Pro-se. I still feel like I outclassed her. I noticed she has an excuse for everything, is gone from the office on vacation a lot, chronically late, clueless, ineffective, inefficient, disorganized and has been a pleasure to do battle with. I'm elated that my ex had her for an attorney as good money was wasted. She cost him more money than he ever could have gained.

I watched Brigid Fitzgerald try a three-day trial last year and I was astonished at how poorly she presented herself. She appeared very disorganized and from what I saw at trial, her strategy was hard to follow and lacked cohesion. She often had to delay proceedings while she flipped through countless binders searching for documents and files -- all while her client was being charged by the hour. There's a lot of lawyers in this state. Spend your money wisely and go somewhere else.
