Facing the possibility of having to file for bankruptcy is extremely frightening. Calling an attorney to ask for help is daunting. All those fears were cast aside the minute I called Kain and Scott. The initial contact I had with Stephanie was nothing less than fantastic and comforting. I had tears and she had calming words for me. She immediately connected me with Wes Scott and, once again, I was calmed. When they say they have no judgment it is 100% true. My story was shared and I (for the first time in YEARS) felt a sense of peace come over me. In my initial 30 minute phone call I knew I was in good hands and my debt would be taken care of. I was assured that if I had questions to call or email and did I do that. I think my first call back was after 5 minutes of hanging up with them. When I went to my first meeting at the office I was again greeted with kindness and compassion. Molly, who is at the front desk of the Maple Grove office, was one of the friendliest people I have ever met. Her smile and kindness poured out of her. You are made to feel welcome and comfortable in a situation where you feel your life is ending. The legal assistant, Britney, I met with took time to answer questions and listen to why I was there. It’s not an easy thing to have to do but she made it easier. She walked through everything and made sure I understood what was happening. They communicate in a clear and straight forward way and make you feel heard. She made copies of all essential documents and returned them to me. After time with her I met with Wes Scott and that’s when I knew I had made the best decision. In a matter of less than 5 days my case would be filed and my road to recovery would be starting. I couldn’t believe it. 5 days! They made sure I had everything I needed before I walked out the door and again assured me that if I had any questions to give them a call. Every time I called with a question I was assured that I wasn’t bugging them or bothering them. Steven would connect me with the right person or would take a message which was promptly returned to me. Even if you think your question was silly or unnecessary, you were heard and helped. Every correspondence was sent to me and if they needed something additional from me, Callie in records, would call and help you get the necessary documents. Once your court date is assigned you get assigned an attorney who will go to court with you. The day before, Wes called and said that Jesse Horoshak would be meeting me and helping me at the hearing. In the first few minutes of meeting him I had met, again, another person who was passing zero judgment on my circumstances. He talked me through what would happen and examples of questions that would be asked. He calmed my fears and made sure I felt comfortable walking into the hearing room. During that 15 minutes just knowing Jesse was there helped me feel calm. Even after my hearing I have questions and concerns and fears. I know I can call and I will be heard. I know I can email and I will be heard. Even on the weekend I have gotten a response from Wes and I know he’s not in the office... Trust me, you want Kain and Scott to help you. They are like family. They don’t judge you...you’re the only person doing that. Stop judging yourself and give them a call. It was the best thing I did.

The entire bankruptcy process was so much easier than we ever thought possible! Jesse helped us every step of the way and answered all of our questions in a very caring way. It's easy to tell that they love to help people through this process. I would recommend them to everyone!
