The secretary seems to do most of the work. My attorney was pretty uninformed about the information I had been sending him regarding my petition to the court when I FINALLY met with him. I contacted my attorney numerous times over several months and left voice-mails, emails, and messages with his secretary to contact me which he NEVER did. He only would contact and communicate with me when we had court in a couple days and try to get his stuff in order quick. I told my attorney I wanted to handle my petition in a certain way which was simple and easy. He told me I had to do it his way which took a year to complete and ended up costing me 5 times as much. I got the results in my favor but only after the judge stated that the way my attorney handled things was unnecessary. After dealing with this firm I decided to just handle things on my own and they've went much smoother.
