Scammers

I have only been with them since August ~ I can't reach them. They don't return emails. I have paid them over 4K for what appears to be nothing………..

At first i thought this was a good honest company said they would deal with the creditors and have it removed from my credit accout instead debts were settled for less then what was owed but nothing was removed from the credit accounts the rest was just charged off and you will be required to add all the amounts charged off to your income at tax time and pay taxes on it this did absolutely nothing to help my credit and by the time your done paying the amounts they settled for and then the taxes on the amounts charged off and the fees for the legal team the sad truth is you have paid more then if you had payed the cards off

This group has not returned any calls or have done anything. It seems like they have scammed me and I want to get my money back. Actually, after doing more research, they have a complaint against them and their associated companies by the Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison and seven other Attorney Generals all over the country. https://www.ag.state.mn.us/Office/Communications/2024/01/22_SFS.asp

There ethics came into question during my time with them. I would never retain these folks again. I mean who leads of there initial meet with there client by saying we love you. That was the first red flag. Terrible follow up. She clearly did not read my contracts because I was only able to get a small portion of what was actually owed. Just lazy I assume. Plus, I still haven’t received my files back. I’m gonna be reporting them the ethics committee. Typical lawyers I literally had to harass them in order to get my settlement check that was sitting on their desk for I don’t know how long. They like to play games. I just happen to catch them.

They have completely taken advantage of my elderly father who clearly suffers from mental illness. They were not responsive to his level of communication. Played a lot of games passing the buck to other phone numbers (such as the “local attorney” prominently named on the website) who then pushes back to the corporate office. If I could give negative stars I would.

Ive been in this program for 1 year and 2 months and out of around 14 creditors they only settled with 3 so far. Ive given them almost $5,000. Now they tell me after I cancelled that I only have $294.00 in my savings. These guys drain you. I wish I never went with these guys. I waited too long to cancel.

North Star Legal has brought some much-needed peace back into my life. Since I let them handle my loan, they have consistently paid on schedule. I wholeheartedly support their program since it is so good.

Great work environment where employees are treated like members of the family. My concerns have been addressed with the utmost promptness and care. If you're in a monetary bind, don't hesitate to contact them.
