A rare, unfortunate medical injury incident happened to me and I felt very alone, disappointed, and frustrated after calling many different law offices in my state and being turned away. I turned to a Facebook group to air my grievance & seek comfort in a support group. Someone responded with an ad they had seen where OFT Law was seeking anyone who had been affected by my issue. I was injured when my landlord failed to fix a dangerous condition at my rental property. I fell from a curb in an atypical, poorly designed bus stop that was under construction, but was not marked As a result I sustained oblique humerus fractures with bone displacement that required surgery to put in a titanium plate to hold the bones together. Other attorneys I sought out didn’t want to represent a complex "Slip & Fall" case that involved many parties because they are difficult to win and could have dragged on and on. My last ditch attempt to get representation was a call to OFT Law. Brendan listened to my story & determined to champion my cause. As a result of his efforts I was awarded a settlement that really made a positive impact on my lost time & ability to function normally. I contacted Robins Kaplan regarding an injury an Jennifer Butcher was the triage specialist I worked with. She was careful and detailed taking my information and I found her to be professional, kind and empathetic to my situation. Robins Kaplan did not take my case, but Jennifer made me feel as though I was heard.

They do not call back when they give you their word they will, specifically a woman named Jennifer Butcher. I find it odd she is not listed as an employee on their website as well when her LinkedIn claims she has worked for them since 2020. ?? She initially called back, took my intake information, and gave me her word she would call me back within a week with a decision on whether or not they would take my case (yes or no, she would call me either way). It’s been over a month, no call back. The fact she’s not even on their website seems fishy to me if she’s worked there for over three years. I looked her up elsewhere, she seems like a scam artist all together. It’s not about not taking my case, it’s the fact she can’t call me back over a month later. They have so many negative reviews, I’d suggest you stay clear from them. I found a lawyer elsewhere.

they have a woman Jennifer Butcher who is not an attorney but who refuses to take clients like an attorney.
