I stumbled upon Mr. Michael Garner after exhausting all my options of finding a suitable attorney in Atlanta who could got me out from the evil clutches of my franchisor. I met over 100 attorneys who were willing to represent the franchisor but scared to represent a franchisee. My franchisor has changed their business model and are trying to put individual franchisees out of business or acquire them by using unfair practices. My franchisor started threatening me after being with them over 14 years to close down my business by sending the Sheriff and enforcing the non-compete. Mr. W. Michael Garner was so nice that he looked at my case for no charge and gave his honest opinion which helped me in making a decision. He taught me that business wrong is not always legally wrong. He taught me that the franchisor acts for itself and does not care what happens to the franchisee. He is so mature that he calmed me at all stages of the process where in normal course I would have gone a different direction. He helped me all the way by protecting me from making very costly mistakes which my franchisor was waiting for so that they could have the last laugh. His strategies helped us to save more than $100K and our business. Me, my wife along with our college aged daughter are indebted to him. Without his help we would have gone bankrupt and the American dream would have been shattered.

When an attorney is needed, it's almost always when there is a great deal of doubt, uncertainty, and anxiety. We were fortunate in that we were introduced to Mr. Garner. After trying to resolve the issue with corporate headquarters on our own with no progress, we hired Mr. Garner. We immediately appreciated Mr. Garners forthright and honest assessment. He answered all questions and concerns in a manner that was professional, courteous, and friendly. His communication style allowed us to feel that he not only understood our legal and financial position, but our emotional position as well. Very empathetic to our situation. After working to resolve the issue with corporate, we truly felt we were fighting an uphill battle. At best, we were hoping to see 50% of our investment back, but realistically thinking 30% was the likely outcome. I don't have the words to explain how it felt when Mr. Garner called to let us know we were going to be receiving 100% of our investment. This was better than we had ever hoped and faster than we could have imagined. Hopefully you will never need the services of a franchise attorney, but should you find yourself in a situation for which there appears to be no solution, don't waste any time or create more frustration and uncertainty.
