I hired Steven Coon after a driving offense. He was knowledgeable in this area and answered every question I had. He worked to build a case to give me the best possible outcome in my situation and I believe that is what I received. He was easy to talk to and I felt I could ask him whatever I needed. My experience with Mr. Coon was a good one.

I went to see Steven to get advice on an HRO hearing and he gave me very sound advice and didn't rush the initial consultation. His advice worked as I got the result I wanted. He seems very knowledgeable and easy to work with.

Until I saw the above reviews I had decided to just leave my bad fortune alone in the past but since seeing the above reviews It has given me inspiration to open up about my experience with Steven Coon. Steven Coon was actually physically shaking when he tried to handle my civil case in 2011. Even though I won my civil case he actually made circumstances worse in a case that a day-one public defender could have handled with flying colors. When I attempted to consult with him following two primary's testimony he got all shook up and told me he couldn't concentrate. I had to hire a new attorney to clean up his mess. When I tried to discuss follow-up and/or repair to my case he only insulted me and made denigrating statements. He attempted to sway me from reporting him to the board of professional responsibility with veiled threats. All in all I should admit that this outcome has mostly been my fault because I knew he was no good following two short interactions and I hired him anyway. This guy appears to have way more ego than intelligence and I can see from the above reviews I'm not the only person who knows it. Don't make the same mistake I made. This guy worked in a "Legal Service" for eight years taking phone calls. Hire an attorney whom has tenured and actual experience in a private law firm.

After one initial hiring meeting, he refused to meet with us to go over the already prepared trial documents and witness statements. Made factual errors in common with opposing attorneys and hurt our case. Charged us thousands for work we told him we did not want him to do. We feel after many thousand of $ of his fees paid he has lost he case for us.....and treated us disrespectfully in the process

I found Steven to be more worried about his image than in winning cases. He refused to ask the questions I wanted answered and we ended up losing the case. A case which could have been a slam dunk. When it came to knowledge of laws and/or general knowledge I found him to be lacking. He consistently dismissed my requests and was, therefore, unable to meet my expectations. If you are looking for an attorney, keep looking. Good luck.

I hired Steve Coon the day before I had to be in court. He met me at the courthouse and spoke with me. When we went to the judge, he asked to schedule the next court date for a future date because I just hired him. There was no other court date because he was able to drop the charges by speaking with the prosecutor.
