Poor communication and lack of updates
“The only thing that I can say that I didn't like was the communication. I have yet to meet this bright lawyer in person, but he did what he said he was going to do and I appreciate him”

Failure to properly prepare for court proceedings
“Hired Coon for a small claims matter last week of June 2021. He failed to inform me that the opposing side had submitted a brief (which is not allowed in conciliation court) Coon did not object to the brief in court. The other side also submitted a large volume of documents that were also not shared with me. We went into trial "blind" not knowing the other side's full position.”

Lack of follow-through and responsiveness
“On 12-12-21 I asked about bringing a motion for summary judgment now or soon. On that same day Coon said the matter is appropriate for summary judgment but added it would be costly. On 12-12-21 I asked about handling the deposition and mediation for me. I never heard from Coon again. I sent a follow up email on Feb 23, 2022 ask for reply. This also was ignored by Coon.”
