Thanks to Dyan Williams for assisting me with getting my waiver 212(d)(3) a couple of months ago in 2021. I was convicted on a charge of possession of 19 grams of cannabis in 2003 in South Africa and therefore I was inadmissible/barred from entering the United States. My husband was offered a transfer to the US at the end of 2019 which was very exciting, until I remembered I had this conviction against my name. It felt like my world had crumbled into tiny pieces reliving this event in my mind over and over again wishing it never happened.
