When I had nowhere else to turn after being rejected by a broken MN political system which refuses to accept reports of Negligence and Medical Malpractice claims against Alina Medical without an attorney, Patrick Burns jumped in and saved my life. After nearly 4 years of devastating rejection and agony over an unnecessary fraudulent heart surgery that resulted in permanent paralysis and severe brain damage of my single parent father who was mutilated by an egregious Medicare money grab, I can finally sleep well tonight. The doors of Mercy are shaking right now because Patrick encouraged us to never give up.

Highly recommend. Attorney Patrick Burns helped me communicate with my employer and provided wonderful guidance as he did so. UPDATE: This lawyer is now emailing me to take down this review. I have contacted the state bar association. All he had to do was tell me, “I’m sorry, I cannot take the case”. He did not, and instead he just said “I thought I responded”. Incredibly unprofessional and venturing into invasive behavior. When my privacy lawyer quit practicing, I paid the state bar for a referral for a lawyer who could take on our HIPAA violation case. I reached out to Patrick Burns after speaking with him on the phone and provided all my case’s documents. He did not respond. I emailed again. He said he thought he had emailed me back, I said I had no record of it and asked him to forward me his response. He never wrote back. I reached out yet again and expressed my disappointment and asked for another referral, and he just said “I can’t help you”. He’s acted incredibly unprofessionally. If you don’t want to help me or are unable to, say that in the first place and also let the state bar know since clients pay for these referrals! He just strung me along for months. To say I’m disappointed in his lack of customer service and follow-up is an understatement. I went through something incredibly traumatic and told him so. This just adds to the pain.
