While every divorce and custody case seems to be uniquely challenging, ours presented many issues. We needed a lot done, quickly and I didn’t have much money to spend. I desperately wanted custody of my child, that being the only priority, and felt I was in way over my head with my ex’s Lawyer proving to be extremely difficult to work with. We contacted many attorneys who needed monumental retainers, which we couldn’t provide. These attorneys just didn’t seem to care, or understand what we were looking for. I felt pressure to pursue more custody than I wanted, and focus more on the financial aspect of the divorce, rather than custody of my child. We saw detailed documentation, whenever we asked, of how and where our money was being spent. She advocated well for my complicated medical needs with the judge, and protected me from the stress of dealing with my ex’s attorney.
