Burns & Hansen is great. If you are looking for a great lawyer, I recommend using Misty Myers. She is great with communication, providing knowledge of the process and your best options along the way. She is really good at what she does and represents her clients well.

I have been a client of Burns and Hansen going on 2+ years. There are two things about them I like most: 1. Their willingness to create a custom legal solution based on my needs and experience. For example, if I need help with an eviction, they will take it off my hands completely, come in for any piece of the process I am struggling with, or simply answer my questions/give advice. 2. When I reach out to my attorney for help, I am usually (not always) feeling very stressed and overwhelmed. How quick I can get a hold of him/her is important; they are always extremely responsive and caring. Honest, caring, affordable, and knowledgeable is a perfect depiction of my experiences with them.

Chantelle and Misty were both great helping me navigate my divorce. They were professional, supportive and understanding throughout the process and represented me well. Last summer, a deck contractor abandoned my project and ripped me off $30K. I hired Burns & Hansen, who market themselves as expert attorneys in Construction Law, and they led me down an unnecessary, very lengthy path and ripped me off $17K. BEWARE when hiring Burns & Hansen! I trusted them to work with my best interest in mind - the opposite happened. They took advantage of my ignorance in law, even though I asked the right questions throughout the process to try to lead us down a quick and easy path to the Contractor Recovery Fund - but that would not have been lucrative for them. If I knew then what I know now, I would have never hired them. HUGE mistake!

Our experience with Burns & Hansen, P.A. has so far been limited and brief, but at the same time significant and sincere. Two phone conversations with attorney Martin Melang clearly showed us that Burns & Hansen operates under a culture of care and undeniable expertise. Martin took the time and made the effort to walk us through options and clarify situations. While we don't look forward to requiring the services of a lawyer; if the need arises, Burns & Hansen (and Melang) is our first call. I wish there was a sixth star.
