Successful team treats clients with respect, understanding and results! This was a very difficult, personal, and private matter that Joseph McCartin couldn’t have made me feel more safe, understood and comfortable with my choice in proceeding with his team and this firm! Thank you for your continued patience with me and working hard to ensure I receive a successful resolution to my injury case! I recommend Joseph McCartin for anyone looking for professional council, progress and results! Thank you Joseph and the Fields Law Firm associates! Kind Regards, Joseph Lehmann

Zachary Erickson I would highly recommend as your attorney...Zach helped me appeal my LTD benefits. If it weren’t for your analytical skills and knowledge, I wouldn’t have been able to overturn and win this as this complicated case. I'm so greatful for Zach and Annie for all their passion, dedication, and professionalism as they updated me frequently and answered all my questions and had a very quick response time. Not only did their passion benefit me it benefited my family. Ib

Fields Law Firm became an option for me when I learned VOYA was cancelling my LTD benefit due to their own fabricated idea about my physical status. I had the pleasure of speaking with Joe McCarten for my initial consultation. From day one he was attentive in important ways. He listened to me and the details that I felt were important, he was very honest and asked important probing questions to make sure he was able to help me and then he became responsive in beginning the process of litigating with VOYA. From start to finish was approx 9 months. That is record time! Joe is very knowledgeable and was very upfront about things that were potentially problematic with my case. I went in with reasonable expectations, and Joe’s predictions regarding what we could reasonably expect to happen were pretty much right on! The reason to call Fields Law Firm, and more directly, Joe McCarten, is because he understands the legalities of disability, he knows all the ways insurance companies try to rob people of the very benefit they have paid premiums for and qualify for. He has the knowledge required to creatively assert an argument when the “other party” wants to convince YOU that you deserve NOTHING! Don’t listen to them! Call Joe at Fields Law Firm! Let them fight for you! You’ll be glad you did! He won for me!!

I am shocked at the unprofessionalism of the desk staff and her unwillingness to even forward my information on to an attorney... I just fired my last attorney and am meeting with another this week who agreed to take my case; I just thought I’d give them a try as well because I’m right here in Minnetonka. I have Hidradenitis Suppurativa, Stage 3; which I self-administer Humira injections for, take daily antibiotics and Spiralactone, get injections for etc. My condition is so disabling and so hideous that it is in fact listed in the Social Security Blue Book (and the last examiner even said I met the listing), as it is recognized as causing more loss of life quality than psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, or any other known dermatologic condition. Still, the receptionist said the attorney would not even bother to address it, since it’s a “smaller diagnosis”, and that the only “real problem” I have are the herniated discs in my lower back that I get injections for and in my neck that contribute to Carpal Tunnel, which was also found on EMG. It’s true that these conditions are severe; in fact, my orthopedic and pain clinic doctors are looking at doing cervical spine fusion surgery soon, but my skin condition is definitely NOT a “small diagnosis.” I also have to get weekly bladder infusions via catheter for interstitial cystitis; which while not having a listing itself, can equal to one due to severity (pain, severe incontinency - I have to use pads for leakage and wet myself often, etc) Still, she said they also wouldn’t address this, and told me that my Asperger’s (high-functioning Autism), ADHD, Anxiety, PTSD, Major Depressive Disorder and Adjustment Disorder made no difference on my case, because I’m “just too young for it to matter.” I guess if you’re 32-years-old, it doesn’t matter that you can’t even lift your arm to brush your hair because the giant weeping boil under your breast is so painful when it rubs with movement, or that the last 4/5 jobs have fired you since 2016 because you’re just too sick or too moody or ask for too many accommodations to work... I have every RFC form imaginable and see doctors weekly, unfortunately. The Humira isn’t working and we are starting a new trial and now looking at spinal surgery. I also nearly avoided mental impatient hospitalization several times, remembering that I am severely immunocompromised. I do also have the Head of Psychiatry at the U of M who supports my case and wrote a personalized letter as well as the pain clinic physician AND HEAD of ObGyn/Urology at my clinic - NOT just statements - but I guess it doesn’t matter to Fields. They only care about you if you’re over 45-years-old. This should be discrimination, in my opinion. Thank you.
