I have a considerable number of friends across the United States almost all of which already got their Ph.D. from one of the famous U.S. universities and now many of them work either at prestigious companies in the U.S. industry or have professor positions at top U.S. universities. Almost all of these friends of mine already got or are close to getting their Green Card under the category EB-2 (Perm) or EB-2 (NIW). As a result, I have been in touch with individuals comfortable and open to share their first-hand experience with me about the immigration law firms and attorneys they work with. It took about 19 months since signing a contract with Bob and Webber Law Firm (WLF), and about 15.5 months since filing I-140 that I eventually got my Green Card (EB-2, NIW) this month, in August 2018. Before signing my contract with WLF, I was in touch with three law firms including a famous one (or maybe the most famous one). I was weighing my options to take a decision and to go forward with one of them. The most important issue which convinced me to continue with Bob was that I asked a question about the new NIW requirements just 1-2 days after an important change in the USCIS rules and Bob was the only person who promptly came back to me with a complete, clear, and accurate response. Those two other law firms either gave me a super conservative/unhelpful answer or were not aware of the change at all. As I said in the beginning, I have been aware of the history of a variety of green card cases. I can write a book about all sorts of ups and downs which many of my friends confronted with during the process of their Green Card case, but as just one example, the Green Card case of a friend of mine who started his case earlier than me and had demonstrated work/research documents at least three times stronger than mine is still pending only because his attorney unnecessarily overkilled his case at cost of delaying the process. When I compare his case with mine, I clearly realize that one of the important factors that effectively increased the success rate and eventually resulted in the actual success in a reasonable amount time was nothing but high-quality and professional service that you get from Webber Law Firm. To me, the most fascinating thing about Bob Webber and his colleagues at WLF is that you always get super prompt (not just prompt), clear, and complete answers from them.
