Ms. Richards did a VERY VERY poor job of representing us in our custody case with my wife's abusive and diagnosed "Paranoid Schizophrenic" ex-husband. She got us half way through, and then demanded that we pay her $10,000.00 IMMEDIATELY or she was going to quit. Our contract said that she has the right to demand an additional retainer to cover additional coasts and what not. The problem is; our retainer was only $2,000.00 and we owed, supposedly, $2,500.00 additionally (that we were making payments on FAITHFULLY and would have continued to do so). That only comes to $4,500.00 by my count. We told her up front that we don't have money like that; so she knew we would never be able to pay that much. Now she is threatening to send the $2,500.00 she claims we still owe her to collections. We still have to find another attorney, because we have a evidenceiary hearing coming up, due to the terrible job she did representing us in our first hearing, and we need to protect her youngest children from any further parental alienation and emotional abuse from their father. Honestly; if I could leave zero stars I would.

I love this lawyer and the Secretary.. Very kind ladies. Good at what they do.

Opal is friendly and caring, but the process was delayed by very poor response time and delayed communication. I am still trying to follow up with questions regarding billing and do not get a response.
