I started this process confused about tax issues and scared of being stuck paying taxes that my employer owed, which were wrongly filed under my SS#. We, as a culture, have been trained to fear the IRS; that they are without compassion or reason. Certainly, it is an earned reputation, but one that isn’t completely true. At least not from my perspective. Tax Tiger was always very honest about the process, sugar-coating nothing, but also never sounding any undue alarm bells either.
