I was a victim in a workplace discrimination case, my employer was a metro area county. I first retained a lawyer from one of the big downtown firms. This firm who I will not name did absolutely nothing to resolve my case. The only thing the downtown firm did was leave me with a substantial bill with nothing to show for it. I then found Chris end it was a night and day difference between him and the other firm. Chris understood the human aspect of my case and understood the ramifications it could have on my career. Chris aggressively worked on my behalf to resolve the case in a reasonable fashion. I thought Chris was a great advocate and looked out for the best interest of me as he worked my case. Another thing that I was very impressed with was the fact that Chris is a very down-to-earth and sincere person. Chris has an awesome sense of humor and is very easy to get along with. Chris possesses a vast knowledge of employment law. Chris also took the time to diligently learn the the facts of my case. The aforementioned combined with Chris's relentless pursuit to come to the best resolution in this case for myself really made him shine in negotiations. After my experience with Chris I would not hesitate to use his services again if I ever needed to and would highly recommend him to anyone. Chris began doing legal work for our union, the St. Paul Police Federation, beginning in 2001 while he was with a law firm. I have twice been injured in an accident. In both cases, I was not at fault. Also in both cases, I was at a loss for how to manage the process of working with insurance companies. Chris completely took over the process for me, successfully reimbursing me for all my losses while always putting my goals first. I have had Chis handle 3 cases for me. One was work related, one was an work car accident, and one was a personal car accident. Chris is the best. He understands what you are going through, and works hard to let you know it will be ok. He is honest to a fault and gives you a realistic assement of things up front and through the course of the case. He does not make promises he can't keep and he is ALWAYS available. I can not think of another person I would want in my corner than Chris. He settled with my ex-employer, he took care of handling both car accidents and was able to get a me a fair and just settlement in both.
