I worked with Chris in 2018 while going through a divorce . I knew nothing about finding a lawyer , or what the legalities of a divorce entailed . He kindly offered me to come in and speak with him. From the beginning, he explained things In great detail and gave me options . From there we talked about moving forward and what that would look like . Never did I feel pressured or felt like my opinion didn’t matter. He is straightforward and tells you exactly what his plan is . He would always contact me prior to doing anything and wanted to know my opinion . Long of the short my divorce was settled in 3 mths . Chris and his team are High Caliber in my book. He is on the ball. my case was very complicated and extended from New Mexico all the way to Minnesota. Timing and accuracy was crucial. It took everything from the courts to the attorneys to the sheriff's department for me to get my son back with a New Mexico Ex Parte court order. He did not hesitate. Communication was right on up to the minute and in full detail. I recommend Chris to anyone who needs to keep their family intact. His team will always be a friend of ours. As a women in her early 60’s with no experience working though complex legal issues, I will be forever grateful that I found Mr. Banas. My divorce was complex and one of the rare cases that did not settle. Not only was his performance in the courtroom superb, but the result of my judgement was far better than I was being offered for settlement. I realize that this is due to many factors and not just his performance on Game Day but it was impressive none the less. I would also point out that his advice regarding the strategy I should be taking in order to secure the best possible judgment for myself was the biggest key in my outcome. This was not a path I would have guessed but I believe was the biggest contributing factor for my favorable judgment. With all that said, the biggest compliment I can give about my experience is the treatment I received by Chris and his staff. They answered all questions and were incredibly patient explaining things to me that I was simply ill equipped to handle. At no point did I feel like I was just a case or just a number. I felt heard and I felt strength throughout the process ( over 2 years!) because of that.
