Kristen was referred to me by another attorney and I am so glad I called. I needed to do an appeal for a long term disability insurance claim through my employer. She has been fantastic. I get regular updates and she takes time to explain in a way I can understand. I am so grateful for her and I highly recommend.

Kristen was great from the beginning. I went to her because I had gotten an unexpectedly large bill from a medical group for a work comp related injury. I was worried to file it as work comp for many reasons so I backed out of it in the beginning and tried to just have my insurance cover everything, but it didn't work out that way and all of the sudden I owed more money that I could imagine in doctor bills. On top of it the bill went to a debt collector, I was terrified that my life would be ruined due to my credit score being obliterated from the situation. Kristen took my case and helped me through the entire process. The case froze with the debt collector and my credit was never affected. She kept me updated on the process and told me what to expect throughout. She was also kind and comforting when I was scared. I was severely injured at work and my recovery has been well over a year. At one point doctors determined I needed a second surgery which the insurance company denied. On July 18 2017 I Fell at work breaking both bones in my left wrist on July 19 or 20 Work Comp called to tell me they had denied my claim.. I hired Fields Law and was assigned Kristen for my work comp case. The case was long and drawn out like most. Kristen is a very nice person but I wish communication was better. Most cases are long with lots of waiting involved, so a communication goes along way in making a client feel better. I also feel like my company got away with a lot of things, (late payments, taking longer than the allotted time to send paper work etc). She could have been more aggressive and not so passive about it. I didnt get the feeling was fighting for me. There were times she forget important factors in the case and I had to remind her about things. That was very frustrating! All in all she did an okay job.

During one of the most difficult times of my life Kristen was always kind and supportive. She even listened to my ramblings. You don't know how much a listening ear or a kind word means until you truly need one. Kristen was always very responsive. I liked the fact that I got to talk to a person when I called. Their rates were the most reasonable. I know if I call with a question or concern I am going to get an answer very quickly. I have trust issues with a lot of people but Kristen and her assistant Jennifer I feel very comfortable talking to and they show interest in resolving any concerns I have. They are good knowledgeable people and I would recommend them to anyone I know.
