Based on treatment of my divorcing girlfriend - this “law” office is cherry picking clients and keeping retainers - leaving clients without any representation with no explanations! They have done this repeatedly to former clients! DO NOT TRUST this office of attorneys. No work and they will keep your $$$$ money They don’t deserve even 1 star - terrible, terrible lack of ethics.

I want everyone to know how grateful I am for Deja Weber and the entire staff they did such an amazing job I put my trust in them they showed us kindness they attended to all of our needs and they made sure that our feelings and needs were met they went above and beyond I cannot say enough how grateful I am in the job she did. We had one goal that we had tried to achieve for a very long time and she made that happen I will forever be grateful for Deja Weber and her team if you ever need an attorney that will care about your needs and what you need to be done I would definitely say go with Johnson Turner legal in my book they are number one. So I wasted my whole afternoon skipping work drove to their Woodbury office, then told me my appointment had been cancel due to conflict of interest, told me I should receive email or some sort of communication that it had been cancel. Turns out, I got no notifications from these guys but trying to make them look good. Cost me time and money for this cancel appointment.

Johnson/Turner have been very professional and responsive in their interaction with me during my divorce. It is important to listen to the customer and understand the difficulties associated with dissolution. I strongly recommend Johnson/Turner over other legal services when working through divorce.

They were always professional while being excellent communicators and personable. Having them involved in the transaction instilled confidence in me that everything was going to be done correctly. I cannot stress enough how unprofessional, untimely and disorganized this entire legal chain is. I wish I knew then, what I know now. Please, if you’re looking for a divorce attorney, read this and learn from my mistake. I spent years recovering from the damages this organization did to me, only to finally receive full custody with the same issues I brought forth back in 2018. First the flat fee is very attractive to people with limited income. This and a review from another client of theirs brought me to their office. Their set up and welcome to a new client is very business like and you can tell they have a good plan in place. That’s literally where the good stops. I was assigned an attorney who I won’t name (as I feel people should be allowed to grow from their mistakes) and they spent the time to hear my case. As soon as we had served my ex with divorce papers, the communication stopped. I wrote them to ask some simple questions as I had no idea how this process works. Without informing me at all, I received an automatic reply she was on vacation for the next week. Not a huge issue in the grand scheme of things but her next email was days after she returned. She informed me she received a motion and she gave me 4 days to come up with an additional 5K or she’d have to withdraw as my attorney. There was no communication that the thousands of dollars I spent to retain her didn’t cover anything except drafting and serving divorce papers. I obviously cannot blame them directly for this as I can accept responsibility for not reading the fine print. However, I don’t know legal jargon and I definitely had no clue what would happen next or how any of it works. At no time was any of this communicated to me. I paid thousands of dollars to hire them because of my lack of knowledge. Fast forward, I pay them the 5K and we move forward to the motion. I provided evidence of neglect, maltreatment, drugs being planted on me, accusations of molesting my children, starving them and so on. I provided proof that it was all lies, audio recordings and so on of my ex admitting her guilt and my lawyer told me I couldn’t use any of that. Which I know now is false. So as I sat there in court for the first time in my life, I get accused of being a drug addict and so on even though I’ve provided proof to my lawyer otherwise. Not only that, I aired out all of my dirty laundry from day one. I was by no means perfect and knew the only way to move forward was to come clean. I got absolutely destroyed with all of the same evidence I have today that got me full custody. But instead, I was forced to leave my home, spent weeks and months without being able to see or talk to my kids and had to pay almost 3,300 dollars a month since. All while my lawyer sat there and did nothing. No defense. No rebuttals. Nothing. I confronted her after this and told her that I had so much riding in this as the kids are in serious risk with her. She then started to cry and was overwhelmed by my confrontation (which was professional and in no way demeaning, it’s just not easy to hear criticism but in a field where people’s lives are in your hands, you have to have a strong backbone). After that, things only dwindled down. Communication increased but her involvement almost completely diminished. After telling her this, I ended up reaching out to the person in charge of the Woodbury office. It was Mr. Turner or Mr. Johnson, I cannot remember which one unfortunately. He ended up listening to my concerns and completely blowing them off. His only suggestion to me was to be assigned a new lawyer which would end up costing me more than I had already spent for terrible service. I waited to give this review until everything was done in my divorce because I wanted to be sure I wasn’t overreacting. Years of experience under my belt now and the absolute hell my children have had to go through in that time, I now know that my initial feelings were correct. I’m happy to answer any questions or concerns anyone has or provide proof of what I said is factual.

My attorney did not follow through to make sure things in decree were met. My attorney did not fight for me. She did not do her job.

DO NOT USE!!!Worst firm I could have hired. They did not fight for me!!! My ex had student lawyers and they were a hundred times better in every way. I literally had a female lawyer who did more HARM than good. The Woodbury office should be shut down. I will be filing a letter with the lawyers professional responsibility.
