My boyfriend called Helen about a month ago to inquire about her services, and she made it seem like she handled that type of case, understood his situation, and would help. Since he is finally ready to hire a lawyer, he called her this past Monday and left a voicemail. He never received a call back so he called her office again on Wednesday. She answered and rudely told him that she doesn’t handle that type of case which is why she didn’t call him back. We were really confused because she told him that her office handled his type of situation when we called her last month. When he mentioned this, she rudely said, “Well, I just told you that I don’t handle that type of case” and hung up. During the call, she kept cutting him off and talking over him, rushing him off of the phone. Her tone and attitude were just terrible. Based on her previous reviews, we expected a much more professional & kind experience. It was just weird because the attitude and rudeness was not warranted. It’s fine to not offer that service anymore, but it’s not ok to be nasty to people who haven’t done anything to you.
