What age joke!!!!! Julie k Casalone which is a attorney for bankruptcy! Tried going for a collection off a credit company bought it and tried charging 1554.00 dollars for a 794.00 charge, somehow changed my courtdate so I wasn't present to represent myself and gave me false information from the first trial.. wasted my time seeking debt solution when it was too late!!!! A sorry excuse, and a waste of air for people like this to thank they are above people, buying people debt and making money off of them!!!!! Total scum

Roundabout 2 years ago now, I was facing a pretty scary legal situation that dropped on me out of the blue, and was lucky enough to be introduced to Doug through a mutual friend. My family and I were not from the state of Missouri. My husband's surgical training brought us to the state. My husband, our 3 month old baby girl, and two labradoodles, had been living at an apartment complex for over 2 years without any problems. After our labradoodle nipped a non-resident inside our apartment complex at 9:00pm on a Sunday night after guest hours, who startled him, the person called the apartment complex management, animal control, and urgent care. The wound was superficial that it did not penetrate the dermis. Urgent care recommended no further management of the superficial bite. Animal control called and said they had to take our dog for 10 days to be quarantined, even though all vaccinations were up to date, including rabies. We were responsible for the 10 days of quarantine fees. The apartment complex wrote an email stating we violated our lease, had to pay the fines, and get rid of our dog. We called multiple lawyers in the area for help in desperation because we had nobody to turn to. One of the law firms we called asked us to write down our entire story and send it to an email that was provided. It turned out that it was the law firm that represented the apartment complex, which we were never told by the law firm. The next day, the apartment complex posted a notice on our door saying we had violated our lease and had to be moved out with all of our stuff in 10 days, but were still responsible for paying the entirety of the lease which had approximately 8 months remaining. After feeling violated by the acts of the law firm, homeless with a 3 month old baby girl, a husband already under the stresses of a surgical residency, told we had to pay thousands of dollars of rent when we weren’t allowed to live there, and responsible for the 10 day animal control quarantine fees, we felt lost and alone. Never being in a situation like this before, we didn’t know what to do and no one was willing to help us. We then tried Douglas J. Winters, with The Winters Law Group, LLC. He listened to our story, made phone calls, wrote letters to the apartment complex and the lawyers of the apartment complex. We paid an additional two months of rent but were free from the apartment complex and their lawyers. He gave us our lives back and fought for us when we had nobody else to turn to. We are forever grateful for the kindness of Douglas J. Winters.
