Wow! No communication, no ACTION. In my opinion, not worth a dime. Dragged feet, doesn't return calls. and comes back 7 months later with a response. Par for the course. Just loo at the replies to her other reviews. Always someone else's fault.

Tana has been a wonderful skilled asset in working through complex legal questions, issues, and long term concerns. She has gone above and beyond to offer valid information to me whenever I need.

I had a long drawn out custody case pursuing custody of my son. Right before trial I had an attorney file a motion to withdraw so when I showed up to trial I had no attorney. I was forced into having a trial without an attorney or to set up some kind of visitation. So I had a zoom call with Tana explained my whole situation and she told me that she would take the case and I would be responsible to pay such and such amount. She did not follow through with her obligations as my attorney she never filed a form 14 to get the child support straightened out. She filed a continuance cause she was sick and showed up for one court date via through zoom and then filed a motion to withdraw. She did not help my case In anyway and she took my money then filed a motion to withdraw now I have to come up with all that money all over again and hire another attorney to pursue my rights as a father. I do NOT recommend any attorney that will do their client in the way Benner Law did me. Do not waste your money. She made thi gs sound good In my consultation but just took my money and ran with it.

Tana is a reliable lawyer that aided in my International Case. Her and her team- Claire were very helpful and in response to queries on time. She started the work immediately I was off the phone with her, I was amazed When it came to paperwork, she was very efficient. I met with and hired Tana Benner at Benner Law after being very poorly represented by another local attorney that I hired to start the process of a divorce that I knew would be very messy. I was exhausted emotionally, financially, and had little faith that I would be able to find the type of representation I knew I would need in my situation. She took time to hear me out, she understood the severity of the situation, and by the end of our consultation, we had made a plan to move forward with the process. We arranged a plan for payment that was within my capabilities and she addressed, and successfully conquered the issues of my case as they arose. I hired Tana to handle my divorce last year. Throughout the process, communication was very slow. It would take a week or more for her to respond to my questions, and she was never in any hurry to finalize my case. After my divorce was settled and finalized, I came to realize that she left a huge detail out of the settlement - she did not include a time frame in which my ex was to refinance the home to remove my name from the mortgage. After contacting her about this, she didn't make much effort, if any, to help resolve the situation and stopped communication with me. I ended up hiring a new lawyer to pursue this matter. My new lawyer has told me that my divorce settlement is "pretty bad." We have met with the judge, and she basically said my ex is not in contempt of court because the settlement doesn't state he needs to refinance; therefore, I'm financially attached to my ex for another 13 years because Tana did not do her job correctly. She did not look out for the best interest of me and now it's costing me a lot of extra money to try to fix what was done incorrectly. In response to Tana's response... my name in the case was Brandi Troxel. You know exactly who I am and I had retained you for my divorce. Your responsiveness was slow throughout the entire case - at which I was paying you the entire time. If your client is in a "hurry," maybe you shouldn't take shortcuts and do the job correctly as you were hired to. If you would like to further discuss these issues in which I've already directly contacted you about and you brushed off, please do so.

Going through a divorce is emotionally, mentally and physically the worst thing I’ve went through in my life. You hire a lawyer who is understanding and competent to help you get through this hard time. I received the opposite services. Mrs. Benner was unprepared, not knowledgeable about court procedures and caused more emotional, mental and physical hurt during a time I needed a professional. Between the stress of getting an unwanted divorce and the stress Mrs. Benner caused in the process, I was unable to work and struggled daily. The only reason I was granted anything in my divorce after leaving my ex with everything besides a few belongs that I took for me was because of my mother. My mother put together all documentation for court, researched the law and policies as well as provided all emotional support during the process. I paid Mrs. Benner in full for her “lawyer degree” but would not recommend her to represent you during a horrible time unless you are prepared to feel worse and represent yourself without getting paid.
