I contacted Cordell & Cordell for help to assist me through my first divorce. I'm under 30 years old and was extremely overwhelmed with the entire process (not to mention facing unfair divorce proceedings). After my initial consultation, Laura Smith took up my case and lit the way! She had thorough knowledge of any and all paperwork required, well-versed experience throughout courtroom proceedings, and saint-like patience as she answered any and all of my questions. I have two young children, both under 10, and Laura went above and beyond to help secure a fair and reasonable agreement between their mom and I. I'm extremely happy with the results. Laura Smith was able to take a grim and typically-bleak situation, and turn it into a fair agreement that will help me support my children.

Mr. Vangjeli is an awesome attorney. He is very easy to get a hold of when I need to communicate with him. He always calls and emails me with any updates on my divorce case no matter what time of day it is ! I ended up spending over $13,000 and over 8 months for absolutely nothing to get accomplished. Constantly filed for continuance for no given reason, would send emails constantly just to charge for the time, consistently filed incorrect paperwork even after correcting him. At one point I got charged 1.5 hours for coming in for a hearing over the phone that he had already agreed to postpone with the other attorney. All of this for a child support case when I was able to get it done for way less than half the price and only took a month once I switched. Also the original consultation is not free. You tell a secretary what is going on and then the attorney charges for reviewing it.

Igers Ivangelli just took my money. I got very little in return. Run away from this "law firm." Cordell and Cordell preys on men at a very vulnerable time in their lives. Hire Leslie Williams from Blue Springs, MO instead.

I scheduled an appointment and had a consultation with a female attorney who reviewed my case and said verbatim " you are the abuser and she is the abused, she may come back she may not. Extremely hurtful to hear feom an attorney when I havent even been convicted of anything . I called to discuss the matter and no one wanted to help me.
