Scott has represented me in various cases and has provided excellent representation each time; I will never use another attorney. I appreciate that Scott is relatable; he arrived to court dates in a suit and tie and was the picture of a typical attorney, however, when I met with him in-office, I was greeted by a man in jeans and sandals who seemed to just want to “catch up” and discuss current events. I greatly appreciated the laid-back feel of the office environment, as it made discussing my current case more informal and provided me with a comfortable experience while discussing uncomfortable information. He was always honest with me about my case and never mislead me throughout the duration of the case; if things were going south for me during my case, Scott let me know upfront. Scott Evans is well versed in the law, he is familiar with his clients and their cases, and he provides the absolute best representation possible with the information he has to support the case. I am thankful for the representation that Scott has provided and the assistance his staff has offered throughout my past court proceedings and I will not hesitate to retain Scott in the future.

Scott is a fantastic attorney! He is honest and upfront with you, doesn’t sugar coat things just to appease you or get your money. He treated me and my case with care and concern. Mr. Cornell represented my spouse and myself in a custody issue. I was extremely happy with the result and how Mr. Cornell conducted himself throughout the experience. He was professional, courteous, and most importantly, highly effective in obtaining the outcome we were looking for. I'd highly recommend Mr. Cornell for anyone looking for an excellent attorney for any custody issues (I can't directly speak to his other areas of expertise, but I am sure he is just as capable in other areas of Missouri State jurisprudence).

- My first meeting and first impression with Scott Evans. He walked out of his office in flip flops and shorts. Very inappropriate unprofessional for the profession. - As we discussed the matters in my case. I noticed his lack of interest. He seemed like his mind was elsewhere. - He never followed through with what he was supposed to do. - I felt like I was working with a distracted teenager. - I guess I should have picked a attorney that was well established. One that was experienced enough to own their own building. Instead, I picked a want to be attorney. Working out of a low rent strip mall. - As we all know. You get what you pay for. I got zero results out of someone with zero work ethic. - It’s bad enough to be done wrong by people. We turn to attorneys to right the wrongs. Attorneys like this one, make things twice as bad. Before you know it. Your being done wrong by the ones that are being paid to help you. - I hope my unfortunate experience with Scott Evens, will keep you from making the same mistake I made.

I had three things I needed Clifford Cornell to do for me. I gave him the opportunity to say yes or no. I didn’t want to spend thousands of dollars on someone that couldn’t get the job done. He agreed that he could and would do the job. He received my money. I received two years of absolutely nothing getting done. Missing the window of opportunity in my case. Warning to everyone. If a attorney is in a low rent strip mall and has less than five reviews. You will be thousands of dollars ahead going with a more qualified group.
