I had multiple consultations and when I decided to retain Mr Hawkins I was told to wait for the contract to be emailed to me. I had followed multiple recommendations from him through our consultations related to my divorce and other ongoing issues. I then found out he is now representing my ex. When I called to find out what was going on I was told it was not a conflict of interest. The person I spoke to on the phone was very rude even though I was just trying to figure out what happened and what I was supposed to do. I have had difficulty finding an attorney in the area that can represent me because everyone I have called has represented my ex at one point or another. This is pathetic negligence on the part of Mr Hawkins and his colleagues. ETA - Before you even respond, no, this is not my real name. That being said, you know exactly who I am. ETA - For anyone reading this, Mr. Hawkins has been reported to the Missouri Bar Association.

Would not recommend. During our custody case I paid everything up front and he was less than available. I felt extremely unheard and not prepared whenever it came to court. My exes attorney was far better. I can’t imagine if we had a more complex case with the outcome could’ve been. 6/19/2023 In response to the comment below. I assure you that I’m a client I record and you were at your previous office with the other firm. I used that firm because my sister had great success in the past, and when I wasn’t able to use the same attorney there they recommended you for my particular type of case.

I absolutely feel he owes me a full $700.00 refund ... My First experience I had With Todd was The judge setting the court date for 8 am a month out . Todd ask if the time could be moved to 10 am .The judge then replied that's right you don't like to show up on time , My next court appearance The judge moved it out Another month without Todd even speaking , my next court date he didn't even show up he wouldn't return my calls so my next date I appeared Alone Again So I fired him in court where it would be on record, i paid 700 cash up front and he never so much as Filed a single Paper Or even spoke to the judge With exception of asking if he could show up late .

Has anyone hired Mr Hawkins for criminal charges? I can't find any reviews about that??

Todd was incredibly well-prepared for my family law case and he achieved the best outcome possible. Lauren is very helpful and kept me informed through the whole case. They are the the kind of people you want in your corner.

Amending my initial rating. While what I needed was completed, all the paperwork was not. So, some very important things were not updated. Now, the court and this office are playing the blame game against each other and I am left to get the paperwork taken care of on my own. Regardless of who dropped the ball, I have spent approximately 7 months following up on my concerns about things being updated and continuously have gotten the 'it takes time' or 'we'll check on that and let you know.' So I finally made all the phone calls myself and found out nothing was done.

Do not recommend. During the divorce process he was dismissive. Failed to represent me and my needs. Sent sensitive documents to the wrong address several times even after I repeatedly gave him my correct address. Had zero empathy or respect. Divorce is a traumatic lengthy process. Mr. Hawkins made it significantly worse. *Edit* any reply to this is about saving face and tricking new clients. I am not satisfied with Hawkins or any response that he makes. He is trying to scrub negative reviews because he is unethical.

Todd has been amazing! When we bring anything up he knows exactly what action to take and what we should do. They have done their best to make me feel understood and explain the process to me! We don't regret our lawyer choice at all.

Has been very professional, reasonably priced and accommodating. I feel pretty confident that I will get the best possible outcome on the civil matter Hebis representing me on!
