I called beginning of the week to schedule my appointment, they took all my info I confirmed date and time wrote it down, took time off work for this appointment. Didn’t get a call at scheduled time so I called and they said they didn’t have me on schedule didn’t care that I took time off work for this appointment and wanted to reschedule, if a law office can’t keep track of your appointment how can they take and handle your case with care?? My divorce & custody case was uncontested with 2 kids involved, default hearing within about 6-7 months of reaching out to their office got the result I wanted, divorce granted & sole custody of the children. I only ever spoke to the attorney Todd Hawkins twice, the initial consultation phone call, where he did make me feel at ease to talk about my situation and answered my questions, and then at the default hearing. Otherwise I received one email from his paralegal Lauren, and talked to Zane with billing questions on the phone a couple times. The cost was initially about $1600 with additional costs about $400 before the hearing. This is really inexpensive for a divorce lawyer so that's hard to beat. I never received any notice of the default hearing, even though his office claims they mailed it; I only knew about it because I was calling to check the progress on my case periodically. If I hadn't called I would not have known when my court date was. I'd recommend Todd for the price if you will have an uncontested divorce, but keep in mind his office will communicate with you very little and it will be up to you to get ahold of them if you have questions or want updates. I don't know what his fees would have been like in a contested divorce. His billing dept is also confusing. I paid a little over $1600 up front but continued to receive monthly bills from them for $250 payments, even though Zane told me when I contacted him that I didn't owe them bc of the money I paid that was in "trust". They also sent bills to me with "(Townsend)" after my last name, not sure why bc this is not my name or anyone's I know. So there are issues with this office but overall, i got the result I wanted for a good price and am happy with that.

Had no problem asking for money but couldn't bother to reply to calls, file the right paperwork or do his job in general. Got a new lawyer and have sole custody within 6 months, kids full time from 3 months. Had Todd for almost two years. Paid but never received.

Todd and Lauren were always available to answer any and all of my questions. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future. I highly recommend contacting Todd for any of your family law needs. He knew what he was talking about and was always straight forward when answering questions. He did not tell me what I wanted to hear; rather he was truthful and honest.

Todd and Lauren made my child custody modification so much easier. I wish I would have had them.for my divorce!
