They took my case almost a year ago due to a situation at Bed Bath and Beyond in Independence MO. My husband and I was racially profiled which later resulted in the manager being terminated from her position. Stacy Shaw took the case and I never heard back from them. I have called numerous times, they never returned my calls. I have had zero follow up till this day and December will make it a year since the situation happen. Looking into next steps. Wanted to support my local black firm that I heard on hot 103 radio station and I'm extremely dissatisfied in this service wish I went with another law firm.

Left 3 voicemails over 2 days..someone finally answered on day 3 and said they hadn't checked voice-mail. Then referred me to another lawyer who never callback either.

Unprofessional . Didn't show up for my court date. Wouldn't answer calls.

I came to Stacy at the beginning of June, seeking her help because my license had been suspended for 90 days with a 2-year probationary period. Like some of you; it seemed to me that nothing had been done regarding my situation. Maybe I was just being impatient because I’m a Lyft driver... I can’t drive for Lyft if my license is suspended; so needless to say — I WAS DESPERATE!!!!!! I thought Stacy was giving me the runaround and I demanded a refund. Stacy was understanding and very professional. Her sister, Robin assured me and showed me proof of where my case was at; and that the prosecutor in Clay County had already agreed to reduce my ticket to a non moving violation and it was now waiting for the judge’s approval. The next week I called the court for an update and learned that I now had a court date of 08/18/21. FINALLY...!!! Now we’re getting somewhere!!! So I could reasonably expect to return to work around 08/18/21 or shortly thereafter, right??? Wrong...!!! Today I received a letter from the Missouri Department of Revenue, advising that my violation from Clay County has been removed; along with my suspension!!! To add fresh icing on the cake... Robin had also purged all dated information and violations from years past off my record so I wouldn’t be discriminated and judged by my past!!! Listen gang... before we get quick to “badmouth” Stacy and her practice; consider contacting her or the office staff. Her intentions are good 😌. She did not pay to go to school the number of years she did; just to rip people off...!!! For some of you, I can understand your frustration but I encourage you to step back; take a deep breath; put on optimism and work it out by contacting them. I, once an angry customer; couldn’t be more satisfied with how it all washed out, in the end. Stacy... thank you SO MUCH for EVERYTHING!!!
