Firstly I usually never write reviews, when I do it’s only when I find someone, a company or product that absolutely blows me away. My divorce was as messy as it gets with serious accusations (both sides) and a court appointed GAL to represent our two children. I had started my divorce with another attorney who did not listen to what I was saying and was recommending things I did not want to give up or do. Best decision I made was to switch counsel (early in the process) to Christy Gondring at Berkowitz Cook. Christy is a family law rock star, she knew when apply pressure and when to ease off, Christy knows the local KS/MO laws inside out and her ability to work with even the most difficult of opposition is phenomenal. Most importantly Christy takes the time needed to fully understand each individual situation and is honest on where things may or may not land. Purely because of Christy, I have 50% time with my kids when the ex was trying to take them away from me.
