I’m a repeat client. I’ve used Edelman & Thompson twice now. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this firm. Most recently, I was in a car accident over July 4th weekend in Oklahoma. I was injured and required surgery and several months of physical therapy. The hospital bills started racking up pretty quickly. Ron Edelman handled my case. I was kept in the loop every step of the way. He and his assistant, Jim Arredondo, are very quick to return phone calls and emails. My case was settled outside of court in a very timely manner. Hands down, the best personal injury lawyers in KC area!

In November of 2016, I was in a pretty horrific car accident (it was actually election day, of all days). I was driving back from voting on the highway when suddenly everything went black and I woke up on the side of the road. From what I pieced together, a guy behind me was texting and not paying attention, and ended up rear-ending me and smashing me into the median. I was lucky to get out alive, but I still ended up with a totaled car, several knocked-out teeth, a black eye, and a torn-open lip that required 5 stitches and 2 sutures to repair. I had never been in a car wreck before, and didn't know what exactly to expect. I knew that I was going to require extensive medical and dental work, and not to mention a new vehicle. After informing my family that I was ok, they told me I should get a lawyer. From what the police officer and others at the scene told me, the other driver was completely at fault and I was entitled to compensation for that. I was hesitant, as I hadn't really dealt with legal issues like this before (not to mention lawyers), but my mom said I get in touch with Edelman and Thompson, as they were recommended by a long-time friend of the family. I am very glad I did, as within a very short period of time I got in touch with the firm and they took my case. While the case lasted for a long time (all legal cases always do, it's just the way it is), I am pleased to say that I am completely satisfied by my experience. Every step of the way, the legal team at Edelman and Thompson were professional, forthright, and competent in their handling of my case. They left no stone unturned, and ensured that not only were they handling all of the various medical and bureaucratic institutions to ensure the best outcome for me, but they kept me informed of every step in the process. After finally receiving my settlement after about a year of getting my various medical treatments and dealing with the various providers, insurance people, etc., I have to say that I am thoroughly satisfied with Edelman and Thompson's handling of my case. Like I said, I hadn't dealt with lawyers or legal cases before and wasn't entirely sure what to expect. But their highly dedicated and professional team put my mind at ease, were forthcoming in what happened in the case, and made absolutely sure that they took every variable of my case (dental bills, medical bills, pain and suffering, insurance claims, etc.) into account when advocating on my behalf. I would certainly highly recommend this law firm, as I believe they have earned their respectable reputation in the Kansas City area. I always felt like they were genuinely on my side and had the practical experience and know-how to ensure that I got my life back after this horrific accident. I would certainly recommend Edelman and Thompson to family and friends in need of legal assistance, and I hope you will strongly consider them for any future legal needs.
