The best ever

In October 2018 I was travelling north on 291 nearing 23rd Street in KCMO with my son and 2 grandchildren. I was hearing emergency sirens as we were approaching the intersection and upon being able to see the intersection I stopped quickly to give way. I was pulled up on the steering wheel to get a better view as I neared the intersection. I was barely stopped and was rear ended by an Escape towing a trailer with some wood. It knocked us forward and I went back hard against my seat. The trunk of my car was bowed and would not close. The bumper cover was broken. Everyone felt okay we exchanged information. I was actually supposed to help someone move. Within less than an hour my back and left arm were sore and tingly. I had sharp pain in my elbow, so I couldn't even help move. After obtaining authorization, and their insurance claiming 100% responsibility , I decided to contact Edelman and Thompson. I knew Jim for a while back in the late 90s when he was looking at some high speed printers. Super nice man. Non flashy ads. I spoke to Brendan Buckley the first time I called. He met me in Lenexa near where I live. I did not have health insurance and he was able to send me to a doctor to get looked at. He found a high level tear in my UCL , more commonly known as Tommy John syndrome to be the problem. He scheduled reattachment surgery and I underwent 5 months if therapy. The insurance company would not offer hardly anything, so Brendan filed suit. After extreme diligence he was able to work out an amicable settlement and get all my bills paid. Edelman and Thompson walk their talk hands down and I would highly recommend them to anyone that needs help in the fields they represent in. Jay McMillian Overland Park KS

Leah Mason was so amazing, and she always kept in touch through out the whole process. We finally received the end result and once it started it was so quick. I would use her again if needed but I hope to never have to do so.
