Not professional and won’t answer taxpayers questions when working for the taxpayers!

We were extremely disappointed in Ms. Bolstadt’s representation. While our family court case ultimately ended in our favor, several major errors impacted the length and outcome. At a key point in our case, she failed to share the GAL’s new parenting plan (which benefited our side!) before she went on a month long vacation. We operated without this knowledge in her absence, while the other side was fully prepared and informed — this caused significant heartache for an already stressful situation. She failed to update our evidence to include expenses owed and accrued by the other party during a year of proceedings, despite her assurance that she had done so. This resulted in thousands of lost dollars we can no longer collect. Finally, after more than a year of working together and a small fortune paid to her, she withdrew from our case over a $300 discrepancy in what we owed — an amount that reflects roughly the amount of time it took for her to send patronizing emails in ALL CAPS defending the failures mentioned above. Her withdrawal resulted in our call-back date being removed from the docket and never rescheduled. This date was intended to hold the other party accountable for a series of court-ordered actions (counseling and support payments) as well as accountability for his contempt charge. The case has been closed somehow without this court date happening. She may be a perfect fit for someone with a simple case, but for more complicated situations, beware.

I highly recommend Scott Sullivan. He’s a great lawyer. He knows his profession and will give you good direction.
