I called Mark Allen's Son, Tom Allen, for advice on filing a child adoption case. He was incredibly rude over the phone and extremely insulting. Very unprofessional and I'm glad I saw this side of him beforehand. Will definitely NOT be hiring him when we file. His attitude toward me was terrible and he was belittling. I'm well aware of the potential outcomes that could result for our child adoption case and I know that you go into a court case with no guarantee. He acted like I was stupid and that I just didn't like that he had to give me bad news, based on his opinion. I was not upset that he gave me a realistic outcome of how things might not go our way. I was upset with the disrespectful way he spoke to me and how rude he treated me in our phone conversation. An attorney should be tactful and respectful regardless of whatever kind of opinion they have.

Tom was kind, patient and very responsive throughout this whole process. I appreciated his patience and calm demeanor. I trusted his recommendations and he made it as easy as possible for me, especially as I was overwhelmed and out of my comfort zone.
