Hired Skinner to transfer guardianship paperwork for a minor, our check was deposited 11 months ago and we never heard more from the lawyer or the office until we called to check on progress ourselves. We waited patiently through Covid, understanding everything was up on end at that time. Tried several times to communicate our need to have some moves made in our case, were promised a call back that was never made each time. Finally had to go in and sit in the office and refuse their efforts to push us aside any longer. Promptly asked for our money and case files back. We were given half of the money and told they could not give us the rest. We demanded they schedule a meeting for us to sit down with Skinner so we could finally talk to him directly. When we came in for said meeting, the lawyer refused to see us or speak to us and had staff hand over the file and rest of our money. Extremely unprofessional way to do business in this small town, have sought counseling elsewhere and already further than this office ever got us. Hopefully they learned from this, I know we did.
